LTA has confirmed that Services 873, 873M and 874 start on 25 October 2026. Use this page to choose by destination, then check actual arrivals during the first week. It is not a live bus tracker.

How the three services differ

Choose by destination, not similar service numbers

  • For Hume or Hillview, check 873 first.
  • For Bukit Gombak, both 873 and 873M pass through, but their onward loops differ; compare live arrivals.
  • For Bukit Batok Street 52, check 873M first.
  • For Choa Chu Kang, check 874 first.

How to read the planned frequency

  • The LTA 873/873M poster states about 20 minutes for each service during weekday peaks, producing a combined frequency of around 10 minutes from Tengah.
  • Off-peak and on weekends, each is planned at about 30 minutes, or around 15 minutes combined.
  • These are planned intervals, not an arrival guarantee at a particular stop; traffic, dispatch and first-week operations can vary.

Four checks before leaving

  1. Use MyTransport.SG for direction, stop number and current arrivals instead of a saved screenshot.
  2. Confirm whether you need 873 or 873M; they alternate but serve different onward destinations.
  3. Keep at least one-service buffer for work, appointments or pickups.
  4. At the stop, follow the current pole information, bus display and staff instructions.

FAQ

Are 873 and 873M the same route?

No. Both start at Tengah and call at Bukit Gombak, but 873 continues to Hume/Hillview while 873M loops through Bukit Batok Street 52. LTA says they operate on alternate trips.

Can I take 873, 873M or 874 on 16 October?

Do not assume so from this page. LTA's published start date is 25 October 2026; check official live information on the day of travel.
