Deepavali Eve / 7 November 2026 / late-return preparation

Deepavali Eve 2026 late train and bus guide: 7 November journey-home checks

Some services will run later on 7 November, but an extension is not a network-wide promise for every direction or feeder. Split the journey home into rail/LRT and the final bus-or-walk leg, then check the services you will actually use.

Extension scope: start with the boundaries

Item What it means
Date boundary The notice applies to Saturday, 7 November 2026 (Deepavali Eve). It is not a general timetable for 8 November or the whole long weekend.
Rail systems announced SBS Transit says the Downtown Line, North East Line and Sengkang–Punggol LRT will run about half an hour later. Use the official posters or day-of notices for direction-specific last-service times.
Selected SBS buses Fourteen named services—60A, 63M, 114A, 222, 225G, 228, 229, 232, 238, 315, 325, 410W, 804 and 812—will run later at their respective interchanges. Unlisted does not mean extended.
Not live information This page does not show live arrivals, seats, queues, station conditions or disruptions. Recheck operators, MyTransport.SG, station announcements and staff before travelling and transferring.

14 selected feeder buses: quick checker

This lists only the 14 SBS Transit buses announced for later operation on 7 November. Choose the interchange or terminal used for your final leg. It does not show last-bus times or live arrivals.

Announced later service: 60A, 63M

Do not assume an unlisted route is extended. Check the operator notice or app on the day for exact last-bus and live status.

A two-leg journey-home checklist

  1. Leg one: reach the DTL, NEL or Sengkang–Punggol LRT you intend to use. An event's finish time is not boarding time; allow for exiting, crowds and transfers.
  2. Leg two: get from the interchange to home. Use the checker below to see whether your SBS feeder is one of the 14 named services; if not, work backwards from the normal last bus, a walk or a confirmed pickup.
  3. Recheck twice: before setting out and before reaching the interchange. Build more margin for children, older adults, accessibility needs or bulky luggage.

Four easy mistakes to avoid

  • Do not turn ‘about half an hour’ into a guaranteed last train for your own route; direction, transfer and live service state still matter.
  • Do not expand the 14-service SBS list to other buses, other operators or every LRT service.
  • Holiday, worship and gathering times vary by organiser; this guide does not guarantee venue access, capacity or a dispersal time.
  • For disruption, safety or accessibility concerns, prioritise official live information and staff directions. This is a static preparation guide.
