Sands Expo arrival guide (13–15 October 2026): SICW, GovWare and Marina Bay checks

Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW), including GovWare activity, is at Level 3 of Sands Expo & Convention Centre through 15 October. For registered attendees, companions and people meeting near Marina Bay, separate entry eligibility, your arrival point and your journey. F1 road restrictions ended at 5:30am on 13 Oct; that does not promise a conference entrance, parking bay, pickup point or session is available.

Separate these three decisions

Place and dates: SICW lists 12–15 Oct at Level 3, Sands Expo & Convention Centre; GovWare lists 13–15 Oct at the same venue. Confirm your own date, time and usable entrance from the event email.

Attendance boundary: SICW says a Visitor Pass reaches open sessions and the GovWare Exhibition; GovWare Conference sessions require a valid Conference Pass. This page cannot verify registration, ID or on-site security requirements.

Travel, 13–15 Oct: SICW directs travellers to official Sands Expo directions. Do not reuse 12 Oct road-closure or pickup arrangements. Hotel shuttles are only for selected Partner Hotels—confirm eligibility.

Confirm eligibility before travelling

  1. Open the event email or registration page and verify date, time, name and required pass; an event poster alone is not admission.
  2. Check the SICW/GovWare day-of programme and venue direction: open session, exhibition floor and Conference session are different access cases.
  3. Use official Sands Expo directions, then allow a buffer from station/drop-off to Level 3, security and the room.

Eight-minute departure checklist

  1. Save event confirmation, any ID requirement and organiser contact; the final organiser notice controls.
  2. Check programme, venue directions, weather/lightning and day-of public-transport notices.
  3. Choose a primary route and backup not dependent on hotel shuttle, event parking or temporary pickup.
  4. Bring a working payment method and charge; foreign-card/mobile-wallet availability and fees remain subject to the provider.
  5. Agree a meeting point and latest leave time; do not keep changing points in corridors, entrances or driveways.

Avoid three false shortcuts

  • ‘At Sands Expo’ does not mean open entry: SICW’s open-session/exhibition access and GovWare Conference pass requirement differ.
  • ‘F1 is over’ does not mean every parking, lane, pickup or conference entrance is ordinary-day access. Use current Sands Expo directions and signs.
  • Social posts about crowds, queues, photo spots or food are leads, not operating information. No post, ranking or image has been copied here.
