Singapore move-out पर SP utilities account close कैसे करें

Key handover से SP account अपने-आप close नहीं होता. बहुत जल्दी बंद किया तो final cleaning में power/water नहीं; देर से बंद किया तो handover के बाद का use आपके bill में आ सकता है. Closure, final bill, deposit refund और new address को अलग tasks मानें.

Key handover से backwards plan करें

T-7 to T-3	Handover और final cleaning time confirm करें. SP app/Portal में contact details, refund method और payment arrangement check करें.
T-3 to T-1	Suitable termination date के साथ account close request दें. Piped gas हो तो City Energy से termination और fee अलग confirm करें.
Handover day	Cleaning के बाद accessible meter readings, home condition और keys की photos लें. Closure confirmation save करें.
Final bill के बाद	Final charges check करें. SP security deposit से charges offset करता है, फिर बाकी credit balance preferred method से refund होता है.
Refund window	SP refunded deposit के लिए up to 30 business days कहता है. Delay हो तो confirmation और final bill से follow-up करें.

अपना route चुनें

Singapore छोड़ रहे हैं	Old account close करें, overseas usable refund method रखें, final bill और confirmation download करें.
New home में move	Old account close और new account open अलग actions हैं. Address automatic transfer assume न करें; new premise के लिए lead time रखें.
Account landlord/main tenant के नाम है	आप उनके behalf पर account close नहीं कर सकते. Last chargeable day, meter proof और final split written में लें.
Piped gas है	SP closure से City Energy termination free नहीं होता. SP के अनुसार gas termination fee लगता है; current amount City Energy से check करें.

अगर electricity किसी retailer से लेते हैं, SP कहता है electricity account बंद करने के लिए retailer को सीधे contact करें; केवल SP closure से हर service बंद मानना सुरक्षित नहीं है.
SP कहता है उसी premise पर new occupant utilities account खोले तो पुराना utilities account अपने-आप close होता है. अपना bill, stop date और confirmation clear होने तक इसे एकमात्र plan न मानें.
SP closure form के अनुसार meter तक staff की पहुंच न हो तो cut-off के समय आपका present होना जरूरी है. Keys देने से पहले security, access card और final-clean arrangement confirm करें.
City Energy अभी domestic gas-supply termination बिना appliance disconnection के लिए GST सहित S$147.15 list करता है. Charges बदल सकते हैं; केवल authorised account holder direct booking कर सकता है और चार working days से कम में express fee लग सकती है.

Usage और दूसरे final charges पहले settle होते हैं.
Security deposit उन charges को offset करता है; untouched amount automatically वापस नहीं आता.
बाकी credit balance preferred refund method से मिलता है.
Final charges GIRO account से deduct होने के बाद GIRO automatically terminate होता है. Final-bill status check करने से पहले इसे manually cancel न करें.
Up to 30 business days official boundary है; हर refund इतना time लेगा यह guarantee नहीं.

FAQ

क्या old SP account new address पर transfer हो जाता है?

SP flow old account close और new account open को अलग रखता है. दोनों plan करें ताकि old home जल्दी disconnect न हो और new home setup late न हो.

क्या पूरा deposit वापस मिलेगा?

जरूरी नहीं. SP security deposit से final charges offset करता है और बाकी credit balance refund करता है.

Account close के बाद GIRO खुद cancel करें?

SP के अनुसार final charges GIRO account से deduct होने के बाद arrangement automatically terminate होता है. Final bill verify होने तक payment arrangement रखें.
