Singapore National Day Eve 2026 last train and bus guide: 8 August journey home

Split the journey home in two

  1. Leg one: venue to a usable rail line. Fireworks end time is not departure time; crowd movement and exit controls consume the buffer.
  2. Leg two: interchange to home. Use the finder below for the extended feeder list. If yours is absent, leave earlier or confirm a normal bus, walk or pickup plan.
  3. Set a leave trigger at least 30 minutes early. Families, older travellers and airport-bound users need more margin.

Watch-outs

  • These extensions apply on National Day Eve, 8 August—not automatically on 9 or 10 August.
  • Extended service does not mean every direction, branch, LRT or bus is extended.
  • This page is not live status. Follow operator notices, station announcements and staff on the day.
  • Public-holiday pay and entitlement depend on rest-day and employment circumstances; this guide does not decide employment rights.
