World Cup final Singapore 2026: free stream, 3am time, and community screenings

Updated 14 Jul 2026: all four remaining matches are free to watch in Singapore. The common mistake is the date rollover: the final is played on 19 Jul at the host venue, but kick-off in Singapore is 3am on Monday, 20 Jul. This guide uses Singapore time only and separates home viewing, Kallang Wave Mall, and five ActiveSG venues.

Final four in Singapore time

Item What it means
Semi-final 1 Wed 15 Jul, 3am|France vs Spain|free on Channel 5 / mewatch
Semi-final 2 Thu 16 Jul, 3am|England vs Argentina|free on Channel 5 / mewatch
Third-place match Sun 19 Jul, 5am|teams TBD|free on Channel 5 / mewatch
Final Mon 20 Jul, 3am|teams TBD|free on Channel 5 / mewatch

Choose the viewing mode first

Watch at home: Lowest friction. Sign in to mewatch and test casting/network early; you do not need the all-match subscription for these four games.

Kallang Wave Mall: The official schedule lists all final four matches. Overnight public transport is limited, so lock the outward and return plan before leaving.

ActiveSG community venue: The third-place match and final screen at Bukit Canberra, Choa Chu Kang, Clementi, Pasir Ris, and Sengkang Sport Centres; carnivals start from midnight.

Nearby CC: PA lists more than 50 community venues, but match coverage varies. Recheck the current PA page instead of relying on an old poster.

Five official ActiveSG venues

  • North: Bukit Canberra Sport Centre, 21 Canberra Link
  • West: Choa Chu Kang Sport Centre, 1 Choa Chu Kang Street 53
  • Central: Clementi Sport Centre, 518 Clementi Avenue 3
  • East: Pasir Ris Sport Centre, 120 Pasir Ris Central
  • Northeast: Sengkang Sport Centre, 57 Anchorvale Road

A low-regret 3am plan

  1. 8-10pm the night before: recheck venue notices, capacity/entry conditions, return transport, and the exposed walking route.
  2. Around midnight: official ActiveSG carnival activities begin from 12am. Bring water and a light layer; do not assume every food outlet stays open.
  3. 30 minutes before kick-off: open Channel 5 or mewatch. At public venues, avoid seat-hogging, loud phone audio, and blocked walkways.
  4. After full-time: allow for extra time and penalties. The final ends on Monday morning, so do not plan Monday 8-9am as a normal high-output block.
  5. With children or elderly viewers: home viewing or the 5am third-place match is usually lower-risk; overnight travel and sleep cost can exceed the value of a free event.

Three important boundaries

  • The final four are within Mediacorp's 28 free matches. Access to all 104 matches is a separate paid/subscription offer.
  • Teams, venue capacity, and activities can change. This page does not predict the final pairing; verify official notices before travel.
  • Third-party bars or restaurants may impose bookings, minimum spend, or age rules. A free broadcast does not mean a zero-cost venue.
