Low-regret checklist

Plan 2 Sep as Windy with a 35°C ceiling: do not extend unsheltered walking in the afternoon, carry water and sun protection, and check the two-hour forecast plus lightning before leaving.
Treat 1 Sep as a late-morning-to-early-afternoon thundery-shower window: stay indoors or near home first, then decide to leave only after the two-hour forecast improves.
