How to use OneService in Singapore: report estate issues and track progress

OneService is Singapore’s one-stop municipal feedback channel. You don’t need to guess whether it’s the Town Council, HDB, NEA, or another agency—submit a case with a photo + location and track progress updates.

What OneService is good for (examples)

Category Examples (not exhaustive)
Cleanliness litter hotspots, overflowing bins, stagnant water, odours (include time + exact spot)
Facilities maintenance lift/lighting faults, broken fixtures in common areas (clear photos help)
Pests & animals rodents, cockroaches, mosquito breeding spots, animal-related issues (describe frequency)
Paths & small infrastructure footpath issues, minor potholes, drains (pinpoint location matters most)

Bring these 6 details (to reduce back-and-forth)

  • Exact location: block/level/unit vicinity or a map pin.
  • Clear photos with reference points (block number, sign, lamp post ID).
  • One-sentence symptom: what is happening and what it affects.
  • Time + frequency: when did it happen and how often?
  • Safety note: slip/electrical/sharp-object risk (facts only).
  • Your requested outcome: clean, fix, inspect, or follow up.

Submission flow (conservative)

  1. Check if the same issue is already reported nearby.
  2. Pick the closest category; when unsure, choose the impact you see.
  3. Upload a photo, write a short description (30–80 words), and confirm the location pin.
  4. Save the case ID; if the issue persists, add updates with new timestamps/photos.
  5. For in-building issues, consider sharing the case ID with building management (condo) or keep it for your Town Council/landlord (HDB rentals).

When NOT to use OneService

  • Immediate danger, injury, fire, fights: call Singapore emergency numbers (Police 999; Ambulance/Fire 995).
  • Scams and account compromise: use official anti-scam channels or file a police report—don’t rely on a municipal case.
  • Lease disputes and legal outcomes: OneService is not a legal arbitration channel.

FAQ

Will a short description get ignored?

Short doesn’t mean vague. The best combo is location + symptom + time/frequency + impact. Clear facts reduce back-and-forth.

Can I use it if I live in a condo?

Yes, but many condo issues are handled by the management/MCST. A conservative approach is to submit on OneService and also share the same facts (photo/time/location) with management.
