ERP 2 road signs/markings: gantry-less charging कैसे पहचानें

Singapore में ERP 2 (gantry-less ERP) 1 Jan 2027 से GNSS-based charging पर move करेगा. Gantry न होने पर drivers को charging locations पहचानने के लिए LTA नए road signs और markings trial कर रहा है. यह page verifiable summary + simple checklist देता है.

Trial में (2026-06-01 to 2026-07-31) आप क्या देख सकते हैं

  • कुछ existing ERP locations पर नए signs + road markings combinations दिख सकते हैं.
  • Goal visual clarity है, “नई fees” announce करना नहीं.
  • LTA कहता है ~1,000 motorists study में participate करेंगे; public feedback भी accepted है.

Driver checklist (simple + practical)

  • अगर OBU है: primary cue OBU alerts रखें; gantry ढूँढने की आदत छोड़ें.
  • अगर car buy/long-term rent plan है: handover checklist में OBU status + alerts देखना जोड़ें.
  • Unfamiliar routes में: पहले OBU alert follow करें, फिर signage/markings से confirm करें.
  • Blue/ERP markings दिखें तो: lane discipline और safe distance रखें; sudden braking/merge avoid करें.
  • Feedback देना है तो: LTA release में दिए email channel से 2026-07-31 तक भेजें.
